Why Do You Need a Windows Registry Cleaner?
The internet is flooded by applications and software being offered by malicious software creators and are usually swamped with many different viruses and spyware. As we become dependent to internet, our computers become susceptible to all kinds of malicious intent by cyber criminals. Even if you install a antispyware software, there is a risk that your Windows registry might be ruined, as the anti-spyware software only removes spyware and adware without removing the traces of the software. As such, it leaves broken Windows Registry errors. This is the reason why Windows Registry Cleaner is very essential.
The Windows Registry contains reference source for the computer. When anti-spyware programs remove the active spyware files from your computer it leaves behind the reference to those files in the Windows Registry. Overtime, it will accumulate into greater number making your computer with a huge risk of crashing down. The Windows Registry Cleaner can stop this from happening by deleting everything that has to do with the spyware files.
The common problem that can be considered as symptoms of error in windows registry are: Slowing down of the computer process, system crash at vital times, the computer is not starting up the correct way, the need for often rebooting, services that are unable to function properly and always getting the blue screen.
The Windows Registry becomes corrupted over time as it stores more and more files and keeps growing. When it becomes full and unable to keep all the data, it will prompt an error and it might pose a bigger problem to the system. As such, it is essential to use a windows registry cleaner. The cleaner will ensure that all files in relation to the spyware and adware will be deleted every time it is detected.
The registry cleaner is a utility program aim to scan the registry for possible invalid entries and other files that has no use and is outdated. Specifically, the cleaner remove the temporary files, URL history, cookies, index.dat from internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera Mini. It also cleans up temporary files and Log files, recycle bins and recent documents. It can also delete unused and old entries. It also removes other unused and outdated files of other applications. This cleaner can be set automatically or manually.
There are various available types of cleaner in the market. Aside from doing its main function of cleaning the registry, it can also come with additional features such as boosts computer's performance, system optimizer, easy cleaner, fix-it utilities, registry mechanic and a lot more.
When looking for a good registry cleaner, make sure that it offers the following: Automatic Scan, custom scan, manual cleanup, backup and undo and scheduler. Having all these features will ensure maximized function of your purchase. These features will guarantee that the Windows Registry Cleaner will function to suit whatever your cleaning requirement is. Although it may seem unnecessary to purchase this program since the risk of having a registry error can be far cry from today, it is still important to prevent untoward things from happening than trouble shooting.
‘American Idol’: Boss ‘very happy with our judges’

“American Idol” executive producer Nigel Lythgoe doesn’t believe reports that Jennifer Lopez will depart the Fox singing contest after this season.
“It would mean a great deal if she left,” he told reporters in a conference call Friday. “It would mean starting all over with another judge.”
Lythgoe praised Lopez’s integrity and said she has the rare ability to criticize singers while nurturing them.
What if Lopez departs? “I do not have people in mind [for replacements],” Lythgoe said, adding that he wouldn’t go there unless he had to.
“I’m very happy with our judges,” he said. “They speak from the heart.”
Lythgoe said he likes the setup of keeping Jimmy Iovine on the sidelines, criticizing the judges if they screw up. So don’t look for Iovine on the judges’ panel.
Lythgoe wasn’t interested in discussing any changes to “Idol” next season because he’s busy with this season’s finale. Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The two-hour-plus results show, which names the winner, starts at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Lythgoe has said his favorite was Joshua Ledet, who was ejected Thursday. Why didn’t he make it to the finals?
“He didn’t get enough votes,” Lythgoe said matter-of-factly. “He’s almost too big for a TV show.” Lythgoe raved that Joshua is “tremendous” and “such a wonderful performer.”
The final two will perform three songs each Tuesday: a favorite song from the show, a choice of “Idol” creator Simon Fuller and the song that will be their first record.
To win, Jessica needs a magic moment in song, and Phillip must do something to grab the audience at the Nokia Theatre, Lythgoe advised.
The producer described the final four contenders — Hollie Cavanagh was the fourth — as “very quiet, gentle poeple — not the divas you’d expect.” The final two are “wonderful people with their feet firmly on the floor,” Lythgoe said. “They actually want to win.”
When asked about a 20 percent ratings decline this season, Lythgoe pointed to “The X Factor” and “The Voice.”
“I still can’t believe we’re No. 1,” Lythgoe said. “The public does get bored with singing shows.”
Planning Your Layouts With Sketches
Do you use sketches to help you to plan out your layouts?
I find that if I'm struggling with the creative process and just can't focus on what I want my end result to look like, sketches are an absolute Godsend.
Of course, the doyen of scrapbook sketches has got to be Becky Higgins. Her books and articles in magazines have really raised the awareness of scrappers to this great scrapping aid. And she creates such fabulous sketches, especially for incorporating multiple photos.
I find sketches especially helpful when I'm doing traditional scrapping. Without the forgiving Undo button of digital scrapping there's much more importance on having some sort of end vision of your layout to plan and work towards. Even if that vision is fuzzy, having a structure for the elements is something I find enormously helpful.
When I have done large theme albums such as the two 40 page Trip albums I did of my last two overseas trips, I found sketching the framework of each double page spread (and limiting myself to a small number of different colours and patterns) enabled me to pull the albums together quite quickly. I was able to keep focused on the photos, memorabilia and journaling without agonizing over the placement of all the elements. An absolute boon when all you want to do is package up a great looking large project in a relatively short time frame.
And just to make life easier there are a number of great web sites offering free sketches for you to download. Some of my favourites are Page Maps, Pencil Lines and Scrap Maps but of course there are many others and you'll also find some great sketches in the large Scrapping web site forums.
Digital templates are now becoming popular and an extension of the Scrapbook Sketch concept designed specifically for the Digital Scrapbooker. These templates are multi-layered element blocks which the scrapper replaces with the digital papers or elements of their choice using their graphics editing software. Effectively the layout structure and design is provided for you and you choose the colours and patterns you want to use, as well as the photos of course.
Both scrapbooking sketches and digital templates help the busy scrapbooker to complete layouts quicker and easier than starting from scratch but still allow the element of creativity in the process that all scrapbookers seek.
VPS Vs Dedicated Servers
Web hosting comes in different packages. VPS (Virtual Private Server) and Dedicated Server Hosting make for the two major classifications. While VPS comprises of multiple virtual servers within a single server, where each virtual server can run its own full-fledged operating system, and can even be independently rebooted; dedicated servers offer a totally different experience, and hence is more suited to mid or large sized business entities, considering the amount of data that is handled. With dedicated servers in place, one enjoys a greater degree of security, functionality, availability, and flexibility. But all this comes at a price. So while the user of a dedicated server owns the entire actual server, the one using a VPS server own his own little domain of influence.
VPS has basically come into existence, with the recent resurgence of virtualization softwares and technologies for various architectures. Hence it more or less, embodies the advantages of both a dedicated as well as, a shared web hosting system. So in a nutshell it's more economical. In case of a VPS server, the physical server operates a hypervisor that has the task of creating, destroying and managing the resources of a "guest". The guest is basically a virtual machine created by the host, who allocates certain resources to it. The guest system may work as virtualized, paravirtualized or it could be a hybrid version of the two. While in a virtualized environment, the guest is provided with an emulated set of hardware and is unaware whether it's strictly physical; in a paravirtualized environment, the guest is aware of the presence of the hypervisor and is interfaced directly with the host.
The overall quality of service, however, is reflected by the use of dedicated server. This kind of servers tremendously reduce downtime or in other words remove any doubts about stability all together. As per the organization's need, dedicated hosting gives the privilege to write as well as run, programming scripts & install software, as per requirement.
With VPS, web hosting becomes more affordable as compared to dedicated type. Apart from this your data is equally safe and secure and your resources such as your disk space ram and CPU is not subjected to sharing. However you might be required to share your server with other users. As far as dedicated servers are concerned, a user of such a server has a ROOT/ADMINISTRATOR ACCESS and can even sell or share his resources to someone else, as per his discretion.
So if we were to sum it up, a dedicated server is only for a single client, who may or may not choose to share his resources. The user of a dedicated has ROOT/ADMINISTRATOR access, and such users are usually those with a high usage. While a VPS user is one who went for features similar to that of a dedicated type, but has a low usage. So more or less it's the kind of usage and requirement which would play a vital role in deciding which one to go for.
Copycat Restaurant Recipes – Everything You Ever Wanted to Know
There is a lot of confusion about copycat restaurant recipes and many people believe that it is impossible to replicate the flavor of your favorite dish in the comfort of your own home.
Most of this confusion stems from the fact that there are authentic copycat restaurant recipes and bad ones. If you have ever followed a bad copycat recipe the experience might have put you off trying another, which is a shame because some copycat recipes are excellent.
Some famous recipes are very simple and easy to copy, whereas others are more tricky and might contain a few elusive ingredients that contribute the special flavor in the dish. There are copycat restaurants for all kinds of famous meals, from Kentucky fried chicken copycat recipes to McDonalds dipping sauce recipes and more.
Simple Fast Food Copycat Recipes
Some copycat recipes are not secret any more thanks to the chefs or cooks in certain restaurants, some recipes have been guessed and others are really simple to make. What about a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish sandwich, for example?
To make this recipe, you simply cook some southern fried fish fillets and fill a hamburger bun with two of these and a slice of American cheese. The "secret dressing" is a combination of mayonnaise, thousand island dressing, sweet relish and sugar. That is all you need.
Once you realize how simple these restaurant recipes are, a lot of the mystique about them is gone and you realize you can quite easily make a near replica of this famous dish at home. McDonalds might use square breaded fish fillets and slightly sweetened hamburger buns but you will be able to make a really close copy of this sandwich.
Copycat Recipe for Outback Steakhouse Shrimp on the Barbie
This very simple recipe uses a dry rub to flavor the shrimp and then they are simply sauteed or grilled with olive oil and white wine. This is a very popular dish at the Outback Steakhouse and it is incredibly easy to recreate yourself. The following recipe makes enough to serve two people.
You will need:
1 lb jumbo shrimp
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
Splash of white wine
Olive oil
How to make it:
Combine the garlic powder, white pepper, poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper and onion powder, and then rub this mixture into the shrimp. Leave them for an hour, and then saute them in some olive oil. Add the white wine while the shrimp are sauteing.
As soon as the shrimp are pink on both sides they are done. You could also grill them, in which case use the olive oil and white wine to baste the shrimp while they cook.
It can be a lot of fun to recreate copycat restaurant recipes yourself. Not only can you save a lot of money by buying ingredients instead of paying restaurant prices but you can get the same amazing flavor at home. Impress your family with a copycat recipe for your favorite dish. What about a Kentucky fried chicken recipe or another famous southern fried chicken recipe to treat your family? Good copycat restaurant recipes tend to be easy to make and taste just like the real thing.

And the final two on “American Idol”, after nearly 90 million votes, are …
SPOILER ALERT: Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez.
They will compete in the last performance show at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Joshua Ledet was out. He had earned many standing ovations from the judges, but the public had the final say. He performed “It’s a Man’s World” as his exit song, and he was terrific.
The winner will be named Wednesday in a season finale that starts at 8.
To fill the hour results show Thursday, the final three delivered the Beatles’ “Got to Get You into My Life” that showed off Sanchez’s voice.
Lisa Marie Presley looked glamorous but gave a lethargic performance of “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet.” Adam Lambert, however, strutted through “Never Close Our Eyes” like a winner. He didn’t triumph on “Idol,” but he’s proof that you can do just fine without winning the contest.
Jimmy Iovine said that Phillip had won Wednesday’s show with a performance of Bob Seger’s ”We’ve Got Tonight.” Phillip seems the heavy favorite to win.
Important Terms Of Web Hosting
Web hosting is the space where files & contents of a site are kept to make it accessible on the internet. There are some important terms related to web hosting, which you should know clearly before buying any web hosting. These are briefly described below.
1. Server PC: The PC where websites are kept is called server PC. Server PC's are usually high-performance PC connected to high speed & reliable internet & are kept running all the time to keep hosted sites up.
2. Disk Space: Disk space is the space on the server PC which is allocated for an account to store web files. Any file you want to publish on the internet should be kept on this space. The required space for a website is same as the total volume of the files, databases, emails etc.
Suppose, You want to host a website which has 200 files, which are 270MB, in volume. The site has a database of 10MB & You want to store up to 30MB's of email then the required space is 270+10+30 = 310MB.
A lot of hosting providers claim to provide unlimited disk space, but practically no one provides unlimited space. If you use too much space on the server, they'll close your account for lame excuses.
3. Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the measurement of data transfer between the web server and visitors' PC or other data source. When a visitor visits a web page, the browser actually downloads the whole webpage including rich media files like image, video, audio, flash animation etc & show it on PC screen. The measurement of this data transfer is called bandwidth.
Bandwidth includes all type of data transfer like website visit, upload/download files, server to server data transfer etc.
The calculation of required bandwidth is quite simple. Suppose, the average size of your web pages are 520KB & you are expecting 100 daily visits on your site.
You have a product manual on the site for downloading which is of 3MB & the estimated download is 10 times per month.
You have a comment section on your company blog where visitors can upload avatar of max. 512KB while commenting on blog posts. You are expecting 50 people will upload avatars per month.
So, the monthly required bandwidth is -
For web pages: (520*100*30)KB = 1,560,000KB = 1523.4MB
For product manual: (3*10)MB = 30MB
For users' avatar: (512*50)KB = 25,600KB = 25MB
Total: (1524+30+25)MB = 1579MB = 1.54GB
If you perform any server to server file transfer, then that'll also be counted on bandwidth.
Like disk space, no one provides unlimited bandwidth though a lot of providers claim it. If your site consumes a lot of bandwidths, then they'll close your account.
4. Uptime: The time when the server remains accessible on the internet is called server uptime. To keep a site accessible, it is required to keep the server run & connected to the internet.
Keeping server PC up all time is quite impossible as it requires regular hardware & network maintenance as well as server updates. Also, accidental technical problem may occur anytime. This is why most providers guarantee 99.99% uptime. So the maximum downtime is 0.01%, which means the maximum downtime per month is:
(30*24*60*0.01)/100 = 43.2 Minutes
This is what providers claim, but the reality is different. Good providers usually provide 99.90-99.99% uptime but for bad providers, sometimes it's below 90%.
5. Addon domain: Addon domain is the domain which is added to a hosting account to publish different website under that domain.
While purchasing a hosting, everyone needs to register a new domain or use existing domain to sign up. This domain becomes primary domain or main domain for the hosting. All other domains added to the account to publish different websites are addon domains.
Consider, you used the domain example.com for purchasing a hosting. Then example.com is the main or primary domain for that hosting account. Then you wanted to host a blog on that hosting account whose domain will be example-blog.com. In that case, you'll have to add the domain as addon domain on that account. After that, you'll be able to host the blog under example-blog.com without affecting the main site hosted under main domain.
With addon domain, you can host more than one websites on the same web hosting account.
6. Subdomain: Subdomain is the extension of a domain which is mainly used to organize the site properly. Subdomain works as a directory on the server.
Suppose, you have a business site whose domain is http://www.mybusiness.com You have 3 sections on your site. Main section - containing your company & service information, Clients section & support section. Then you can host the main section on root domain & clients & support sections under clients & support subdomains respectively. So the address for clients section will be clients.mybusiness.com & support section will be support.mybusiness.com.
As an example, the URL of google plus is plus.google.com
Here, plus is the subdomain of google.com
If we split the URL based on domain level, then
.com = 1st or top level domain
Google = 2nd level domain
Plus = 3rd level domain
So, have a clear idea on these terms & choose the best hosting for your site.
‘American Idol’: Phillip Phillips has got tonight

Ryan Seacrest said the race on “American Idol” was tighter than ever. But the performances Wednesday night suggested it will be an all-male finale next week.
In the first round, the judges picked the songs. Joshua Ledet gave a confident, appealing performance of Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind,” and the judges rewarded him with a standing ovation. “You brought down the house again,” Jennifer Lopez said.
Jessica Sanchez looked glamorous as she delivered Mariah Carey’s “My All,” but the song didn’t show off her voice. Did the judges care? “Absolutely beautiful,” Randy Jackson said. Steven Tyler said he thought that she would be the last person standing.
Phillip Phillips was at his very best on “Begging,” playing the guitar and channeling his charisma to potent effect. “It was great,” Lopez said. “You could be a new Springsteen,” Tyler said.
Winner of the first round? Phillip.
In round two, the contestants picked the songs.
Joshua was mostly restrained, and quite effective, on “Imagine.” “You are so fine,” Tyler said.
Jessica delivered a so-so rendition of “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” an Aerosmith hit, in front of Tyler. He gave her a standing ovation. “You just took a great song and made it greater,” he said. “This girl is bold,” Jackson said. But can she make it to next week?
Phillip infused a folk-flavored “Disease” with his sex appeal. His delivery was low-key yet appealing. The judges weren’t impressed. Lopez didn’t think it was a wow performance, and Tyler agreed.
Winner of the second round? Joshua.
Jimmy Iovine selected the songs in round three. Joshua hopped , strutted and roared through Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama.” “Over the top,” Tyler said. He meant that in a good way.
Jessica saved her strongest performance for last and showed off her pretty voice on the Jackson Five’s “I’ll Be There.” “Gorgeous,” Tyler said. Jackson liked it but didn’t love it.
Phillip revealed that he can handle melody just fine on “We’ve Got Tonight,” but why was he rubbing his leg? The judges gave him a standing ovation. Jackson said it was his best performance ever on the show. The censor bleeped Tyler’s comments, but Lopez predicted that the female fans would respond to Phillip.
Winner of round three? Phillip.
The results show starts at 8 p.m. Thursday on WOFL-Channel 35. Adam Lambert and Lisa Marie Presley will perform. The judges saved Jessica earlier in the season; her run is likely to end Thursday.
Budget Cloud Web Hosting Advantages And Disadvantages
Budget cloud web hosting is the new model for hosting your website that has been making waves around the world, and many feel it is with good reason. Before cloud web hosting arrived, Internet sites trusted in things such as dedicated servers, shared servers, and virtual private servers, to maintain the daily operations of their facilities. While many of these are still in use and do have a place in the digital age of today, cloud web hosting has started to usurp them for a variety of reasons. However, is cloud hosting completely a good thing or not? Read through these advantages and disadvantages and determine it for yourself.
Advantage: Maximum uptime
It is true that cloud hosting accounts for a larger amount of uptime than any other form of web hosting. The reason for this is that a cloud exists across multiple servers. One site has multiple resources at its disposal, making for the best in redundancy and speed. As a result, users that visit sites on a cloud platform report a friendlier and more efficient experience than those on previous forms of web hosting.
Disadvantage: More expenses
Budget or not, many websites on this platform find themselves paying more because, as previously mentioned, they are utilizing the resources of not just one dedicated server, but multiple servers in multiple locations. As a result, the cloud plan may not be for everyone. Sites that are having trouble generating a great deal of revenue are likely to suffer from a budget shortfall at the end of this month. It is best to have the budget before you switch to cloud.
Advantage: More computing power
Again, since you have more than one quality server working for you, your site will experience more power and faster load times than ever before. The user experience will go through the roof, and your web destination will be the hosting companies place to visit in your respective industry. Just make sure that your content is clear and focused and that you have a strong enough niche to support monetization efforts.
The world of tomorrow is here today, and those choosing to embrace it will be able to do more than survive. They will find unequaled success. If your site is in need of a pick me up, the cloud model may be the way that you wish to go. But before you choose it, be mindful of the advantages and the disadvantages that are out there. Make only decisions that make economic sense, and in the meantime, strive to create content that is better than anything else out there on the subject.
As you do these things, you will see traffic and revenue go up, and with cloud web hosting on your side, you'll have the tools to deal.
